Leadership & Innovation

Become a bold and authentic leader who creates change!

Leadership & Innovation

Everything stands and falls with leadership and whether your skills in this field are developed and shaped by people who know about leadership in practice. Jesus took the lead as the ultimate example of a good leader. He created a team that changed the world through their courage and innovation. But it didn't start there; they started fearful and uncontrolled. Good leaders are not born, they are shaped and developed. That's what we do at Acts Academy.

We invite you to become part of a stream where you learn about leading, being authentic, building dynamic teams, resolving conflicts, creating and changing culture, and bringing a vision from dream to reality. Whether you want to start a new association, a church, or a business, or just wish to become a better leader in the church or society, here you will get the right tools from the best leaders in our international network of both churches and businesses.

At Acts Academy, future leaders are shaped for churches and communities. Through theoretical teaching, companionship, mentoring, and practical application, we create leaders who can show courage, take responsibility, build teams, develop people and bring about change.

We mean it when we say that we will develop the best in you. In an environment where there is room for ideas, a clear framework, and personal empathy, as well as a desire for learning and development, you will develop into a leader who can be innovative, courageous, and ready to make an impression.

In our Leadership and Innovation stream, we work with leadership in three areas: to lead yourself, to lead others, and to lead in a context. Each area is touched upon several times during the year. We have lectures, group assignments, reflections, work in mentor groups, etc. We want to make room for development in both theory and practice. Therefore, project management will also be taught, and there will be various management challenges, such as managing the mission trip. During the year, there will be three written assignments (approx. 1,000 words) that can be written in Danish or English.

There are no requirements for prior experience with leadership, but we expect that everyone will work seriously on the subject and be open to learning. A compendium of material is prepared for preparation and further self-study.

Teachers:

Ingrid Frederiksen, who is vice principal, will lead the course and also teach. In addition, a number of other teachers are joining, each leaders in their field. Teachers include: Joel Bagnall, Simon Pahl, Niels-Peter Hedegaard, Stig Hagen, and a number of business people.
